The hand held activator is an alternative to the traditional manual form of chiropractic (spinal manipulation). The chiropractic activator uses an impulse force along the spine instead of the more traditional 'hands on' approach to chiropractic.
The Activator Technique aims to reduce inflammation that causes pain and restricted mobility. Chiropractors can identify areas of restriction and treat soft tissue lesions with the depth, pressure and specificity necessary to affect the condition at the site of the pain, as well as following the kinetic chain to find and treat the cause. Other conditions treated include the following:
- Chronic Pain
- Rotator Cuff Injuries
- Knee Injuries
- ITB Syndrome
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Elbow Tendonitis
- Strains/Sprains
- Neck/Back Pain
- Plantar Fasciitis
Benefits of the Activator Technique include the following:
- Pain Relief
- Increased Flexibility
- Increased Strength
- Enhanced Recovery
